Morneau’s tax proposals still need work despite changes, critics insist – National Newswatch

The Coalition for Small Business Tax Fairness is urging Minister Morneau to postpone his income-sprinkling proposal until Jan. 1, 2019, provide more clarity on how it will work and, at minimum, make spouses exempt. The Coalition is concerned that the change is supposed to come into effect January 1, 2018, with major questions left unresolved.
