Kamloops, BCCHBA Central Interior and Thompson Rivers University Wins Gold Georgie™ Trophy at Recent Virtual Provincial Homebuilder Awards

Canadian Home Builders’ Association Central Interior and Thompson Rivers University Trades and Technology were Gold Award winners on Friday, June 26, at the 28th Annual Georgie Awards® Gala.

For the first time ever, the Georgie Awards was held online, in a virtual format. The winners were announced by emcee Todd Talbot, co-host of Love It or List It Vancouver.

CHBA Central Interior and TRU won the category Best Public Private Partnership for the 2019 Training House project which was sponsored by Next Home.

The Georgie Awards® is an annual awards program presented by the Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia. The awards are recognized provincially and nationally as a premier housing awards program that highlights excellence in home building and renovation in the province.

“We are particularly thrilled that our Training House Project, a long-time partnership with Thompson Rivers University School of Trades & Technology, continues to be recognized as a unique initiative at the provincial level” said Kelly Reid, President of CHBA Central Interior.
