TRUE Consulting
Chris Crowell is a civil engineer at TRUE Consulting and has focused on the land development sector while working on behalf of various Kamloops developers. TRUE Consulting has been an active member of the CHBA Central Interior Association since 2017.
Chris was a part of the Development Cost Charges (DCC) committee who worked with City of Kamloops to update the DCC Bylaw in 2019.
Prior to his professional career as an engineer, Chris played 4 years of junior hockey with the Vernon Vipers, serving as captain of the 2009 RBC championship. He also played 4 years of NCAA Division 1 hockey for the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves while earning his engineering degree.
Kamloops Home Hardware
Ryan Kurzac is the owner of Kamloops Home Hardware Building Centre. Kamloops Home Hardware has been an active member of the CHBA Central Interior Association since 1986.
Ryan is the current Chair of the Events Committee. He has been on the CHBA Central Interior Board since 2013 serving as a Director.
In recognition for his dedication and service to the association, Ryan was awarded the Maple Leaf Award in 2018. He was also the recipient of the 2018 Rooftopper Award for sponsoring the most new members to CHBA Central Interior.
Wrabel Brothers Construction Ltd.
Drew Atkinson began working for Wrabel Brothers Construction Ltd. as a summer student in 1998 while attending university. He then began full time in the summer of 1999 and completed his apprenticeship at Wrabel Brothers Construction, becoming a Red Seal Certified Carpenter. During 2021, he bought into the company, becoming a third partner. In his capacity as project manager, Atkinson is responsible for custom home builds, commercial tenant improvements, renovations, and commercial restaurants such as McDonalds, Tim Hortons, and Local Public Eatery. He additionally oversees the employment of 25-30 individuals and encourages the completion of their apprenticeships. In his spare time, Atkinson enjoys outdoor sports such as snowboarding, hiking, and golf, as well as powerlifting.
Wrabel Brothers Construction has been a member of the CHBA CI since 2012.
Bernhardt Contracting Ltd.
Jordan Lester began his journey in construction at a young age, helping his dad out with renovations. In 2003 he moved to Vancouver where he attended BCIT, and shortly after started his contracting business. In 2011, after his son was born, he moved back to Kamloops. While taking CHBA courses and working towards his builder’s license, Lester discovered his aptitude for building science and began pursuing a path towards becoming a Certified Energy Advisor. Since then, he has built up his knowledge tool belt with NetZero, Energy Star for New Homes Standard, Murbs as well as being a Certified Passive House Consultant.
Bernhardt Contracting has been a member of the CHBA CI since 2018.
A&T Project Developments Inc.
As a Partner and Vice President of Construction on A&T’s senior management team, Brandon oversees construction operations including project estimating, scheduling, permitting and development approvals. He hires, manages and evaluates all Project Managers, Project Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and construction personnel and ensures that all equipment and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. He ensures projects progress on schedule without ever compromising the company-wide commitment to secure and safety-first workplaces.
Brandon has directed the successful completion of multiple commercial and lease hold improvement projects including hotel, retail, recreation, office, industrial and residential within the region. He is a Certified Red Seal Carpenter and an Accredited Project Manager who credits his mentors with teaching him the importance of detail and an honest work ethic. Something he believes to be the values held firmly within A&T.

Interior Safety Network Ltd.
Dario Dzinic is the owner and principal consultant of Interior Safety Network Ltd, a safety consulting and training business established in 2018. Interior Safety was established to help small and medium-sized companies achieve their safety goals and comply with legislation. We are passionate about safety and believe that safety training and mentoring will increase the company's safety culture and reduce the number of injuries.
Dario Dzinic, an experienced construction and oil and gas safety consultant, is committed to continuous learning. He is a certified National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), Gold Seal Certified (GSC) Construction Safety Officer with the Canadian Construction Association, and Professional Gold Seal (P.GSC ) Construction Safety Practitioner with the Canadian Construction Association. He is also an external COR Auditor for construction companies and a former regional safety advisor at the BCCSA. Dario is a certified safety instructor who teaches confined spaces, fall protection, silica awareness, workplace investigations, site inspections and a few other safety courses. He is an experienced workplace incident investigator. Recently, he is certified NEBOSH workplace incident investigator. Also, he is certified by the Workplace Institute for investigating Allegations of Harassment and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. He is pursuing education in Workplace Psychological Health and Safety, demonstrating his dedication to staying updated with the latest safety practices in mental health.
DNM Enterprises Ltd.
Derek Moroz was born and raised in Kamloops. He became a Red Seal Carpenter in 2003 and has been involved in the construction and development industry in Kamloops since. Throughout his career he has been deeply involved in various projects that have contributed to the growth and improvement of Kamloops and area. For the past 18 years, he has been happily married and is a proud parent of four children. Balancing family life and professional endeavours Derek has successfully managed and operated multiple businesses in Kamloops and surrounding areas. His dedication to excellence and commitment to the local community have been the driving forces behind his success. DNM Enterprises is a General Contractor focusing on residential multi-family and custom home development as well as commercial and industrial development. DNM Enterprises has been a member of the CHBA CI since 2017.
Jerry Gill Personal Real Estate Corp.
Jerry Gill, along with his wife and three kids, is a lifelong resident of Kamloops with deep roots in the community and a passion for real estate and construction.
Jerry Gill a licensed realtor for 25 years, helping countless families find their dream homes. In 2007, Jerry expanded his expertise to building high-end spec homes, bringing quality and innovation to the Kamloops housing market.
He served as a presidential appointee for two years and is eager to step up and take on a more active role by running for the CHBA Central Interior Board of Directors, where he aims to contribute his extensive experience. Jerry Gill Personal Real Estate Corp. has been a member of CHBACI since 2018.
Cressman Homes
Nathan Doubroff, owner of Cressman Homes, has been in the construction industry for nearly 10 years. Under the mentorship of Duane Cressman, previous owner and father in law, the 2 of them managed construction of over 100 custom and spec homes in the Lower Mainland and Tobiano before turning over the company. Nathan is an active member of the CHBACI since 2020, and has a desire to see Kamloops and the building community continue to thrive. Cressman Homes has had a focus on single family builds with plans for land development and multi-unit projects on the horizon. Nathan and his wife have 3 young girls who love travelling and spending time on the water. You may also be likely to find him out on the course at Tobiano.
Malcolm Homes Ltd.
Paul Douglas is the owner and President of Malcolm Homes Ltd. He is a red seal journeyman carpenter and has spent the last 25 years building custom homes in Kamloops and surrounding areas. He is a NetZero certified builder and has a passion for high performance and exceptionally crafted homes. Paul has been a proud member of the CHBA Central Interior since 2010. He is committed to supporting members and won the Hand Shake award in 2017, an award given to the builder who used the most CHBA CI members in a year. He is looking forward to working alongside other professionals, advocating for our industry.
Copper Sun Homes
Ray Nann was born and raised in the Central Interior of BC and is the owner of Copper Sun Homes. He is a General Contractor/Carpenter who has been building single and multifamily residences and completing full house renovations in the TNRD for the past 14 years. Copper Sun Homes has been an active member of the CHBA Central Interior since 2019. Ray is a licensed builder in BC since 2011. He is also the Managing Partner of Net Zero Framing and Foundation Ltd. Ray holds a Certificate in Database System Design from the University of Calgary. He has completed advanced courses in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing from the University of California, Irvine in California. Ray completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology and a concentration in English from Thompson Rivers University (TRU). Ray also holds a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources from TRU.
Plainsman Group of Companies
Ryan is a partner at Plainsman Builders, a family business with a proud 55-year membership in the Kamloops Home Builders Association. Ryan rejoined the business last year after an established 15+ year career of engineering and management in the mining industry across North America and Australia. Ryan has an extensive engineering career, where he has built teams to operate safely, productively, and with integrity to get things done. He has a degree in Geological Engineering from UBC and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from SFU. Ryan stays true to his roots, growing up labouring in the construction business in Kamloops. He has a passion for working with the hard-working people in the industry as well as a deep commitment for continuous learning and giving back. Outside of work, Ryan is dedicated to his young family and can often be found biking the local trails, skiing at Sun Peaks, and taking on new athletic challenges.
Tri City Canada
Shaun Minten started his construction career as an Estimator/Junior Project manager for Tri City Contracting Ltd in 2006. This position developed into Project Management focusing on Bid Bond projects for several years. In 2009 Shaun left Tri City Contracting to start his own company, Tri City Contracting Kamloops Ltd. Tri City Contracting Kamloops Ltd began as a General Contractor focusing on smaller bonded projects. As the economy changed so did Tri City Contracting Kamloops Ltd, after a year renamed to Desert City Contracting Ltd with a primary focus on Commercial Concrete Formwork. For 8 years Desert City Contracting successfully completed concrete projects throughout BC, Alberta and the Northwest Territory. As the president of the company Shaun’s task were all inclusive; from project administration, estimating and scheduling to site layout and working on the tools. In 2016, Shaun with his business partner incorporated a second company Interior Concrete Finishing Ltd. With this new entity we were able to offer a complete concrete package from forming to finishing. In 2018, Shaun sold his shares of both companies to return to Tri City to take over construction operations. Currently, Shaun is the Vice President of Tri City Canada.
Tri City Canada has been a member of the CHBA CI since 2017.
DW Builders
Wayne Wittal is the president and partner of DW Builders. Building is in the bloodlines for Wayne. In 2022, Wayne proudly took over the family business from his father, past CHBA CI president Doug Wittal, (1992-1993, 1997-1998, and 2007-2009). DW Builders is a respected general contractor responsible for countless residential and commercial projects in the Kamloops region since 1980 and has been a member of the CHBA Central Interior since 1988. Wayne received his Red Seal in carpentry in 2011 and is a licensed residential home builder with 25 years of construction industry experience, having been involved in every aspect of the building process.
